  • The LLL takes several precautions to ensure that the security of your funds is never compromised.Loans are advanced only to LCA organisations.
  • The LCA guarantees repayment of all loans, and also indemnifies the LLL against any loss in the event of a default. The LLL does not speculate in shares or property.
  • The LLL uses Reserve Bank regulations for Authorised Deposit Taking Institutions as a guideline to maintaining its Capital Adequacy Ratio to ensure ongoing viability, and to assist in safeguarding depositors’ funds.

Investments

The permanent funds of the LLL, together with depositors’ funds that are not utilised in the ministry lending program, are invested in accordance with the strict requirements of the LLL constitution.

The LLL has developed an investment policy which guides management and further restricts investment stipulated in the constitution. This policy ensures that investments are only made in highly rated Australian investments that are capital stable, diversified and highly liquid.

“One Time Password” Security

LLL@Home offers you an additional security option to enhance your safety when interacting with us online. This is used in conjunction with your Login ID and Access Code when logging in. You can choose to have a ‘One Time Password’ sent to your mobile phone via SMS message, or get your own Security Token which self-generates a ‘One Time Password’.

These security options are market leading protection tools, and together with your up-to-date internet security software, are an effective way to combat increasing fraud and identity theft. The LLL is pleased to offer these security options free of charge to our LLL@Home customers.

You can self register for one or both of these options while logged into LLL@Home under the ‘Other’ menu and by selecting the ’Security Options’ tab. Registering for both enables you to choose which method you would like to use each time you login to LLL@Home. Thus ensuring that you transact safely.
