Some of the advantages of REG for members are:
- You know that you are giving God the first part of your income
- The LLL pays the transfer fee on this facility and makes no charges. However, your financial institution (ie Bank, Credit Union etc) may charge a transaction fee for "direct debit" transactions. You should check this with your financial institution
- Your gift to the Church is transferred automatically
- When you are away, your gift continues to be made, without you having to catch up when you return
- It's flexible. You may increase, decrease, postpone or cancel your gift at any time by notifying the LLL in writing (at least 2 days prior to the next transaction)
- It's safe - no need to carry extra cash for your offering
- It's confidential. No individual details are given to the Church (or project) treasurer
- REG cards are available to place in the offering plate each Sunday showing that you have made your offering electronically.
