Regular Electronic Giving (REG)
- Confidential direct debit of members’ offerings to your congregation. The congregation receives no information about who is contributing or how much the individual contributions are. An LLL REG deposit account must be opened by the congregation to receive REG contributions.
- Regular income for the congregation. Congregation members can choose to give weekly, fortnightly, monthly, quarterly or half yearly.
- Time saved with less cash to process
- Improved security with less cash to handle
- REG can be set up to come from any bank account, or from an lll account.
To support the promotion of REG within the congregation, the LLL can provide REG flyers and brochures, a REG powerpoint presentation and suggested script, and REG cards (to put in the offering plate in lieu of the offering envelope).
LLL Special Purposes Permanent Fund
Members can make a donation or leave a legacy to the LLL Special Purposes Permanent Fund and nominate that they wish it to support your congregation. This Permanent Fund guarantees that every year your congregation will then directly receive the income generated by a member’s gift or legacy - at 5% per annum. The original amount of their gift is preserved in the Special Purposes Permanent Fund, and will never be spent. This is attractive to members who want to leave a gift to your congregation that lasts forever.
LCA Project Support Accounts
Non Interest Bearing Accounts supporting the work of the LCA
Members can open an LCA Project Support Account, with all the features of an LLL deposit account, and designate it to be non interest bearing to benefit your congregation. This means that they forfeit interest on their account, which allows the LLL to pay a grant of 5% to your congregation. This is a very effective means of members supporting your congregation. Accounts held by organisations cannot be LCA Project Support Accounts in support of themselves.
LCA Online Donations & Payments
Credit Card donations & payments
Members can make donations or payments to your congregation online using their credit card. You can register your congregation to appear on the LCA Online Donations and Payments website. We can provide a web link so that you can link to this facility from your own congregational website. There are some third party costs involved.
Email LCA Online Donations & Payments for further information: donations@lll.org.au
