LLL Australia is a demonstration of the incredible power of people, united in faith, working together towards a common purpose – to transform money into a force for good that is passed back and forth from person to person, entity to entity, and generation to generation.
Established in 1921, LLL prides itself on providing investment products that are simple to operate, with no fees or charges. LLL provides loans and builds partnerships that support and transform the Lutheran Church of Australia (LCA) and associated entities such as schools, churches, congregations and aged care facilities.
Our mission is to provide business and financial support to the LCA, while providing excellent service to all customers and safeguarding the interests of investors.
Supporting communities and the LCA through Sponsorship, School Bursaries, Camping Ministry and Mission Outreach Grants
Thanks to our missional partnership with our valued investors, LLL's Sponsorships, School Bursaries, Camping Ministry and Mission Outreach Grants continue to support key organisations, such as Lutheran Youth of Queensland (LYQ) and Australian Lutheran World Service (ALWS), Lutheran schools and grassroots projects that benefit congregations and communities across the country.
In addition to our Platinum Partnership sponsorships of LYQ and ALWS, our sponsorships support major Lutheran Church events, school fetes, congregational concerts and drama productions, art competitions and teacher trauma awareness education.
Through our missional partnership with our investors, LLL has been able to commit $1m in School Bursary Grants to schools over seven years, with the first grants awarded in 2021.
The guiding principle of LLL Bursary Grants is to provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to attend a Lutheran school who would otherwise be precluded from doing so due to financial hardship.
We are proud to assist young people and emerging leaders to attend fun-filled camps across the country through our Camping Ministry Grants.
Thanks to our missional partnership with our valued investors, LLL is able to award $75,000 annually to encourage new campers to join the fun and enable families experiencing financial hardship to enjoy the many benefits of a transformational Lutheran camp experience.
LLL Mission Outreach Grants have provided over $1 million in funding for over 65 projects since 2010.
With the aid of a Mission Outreach Grant, congregations across the country have shown inspirational passion, commitment and creativity to undertake grassroots mission outreach projects that make a real difference in communities.
LLL also maintains a number of Permanent Funds, which provide annual grants that assist particular mission areas of the Church.
We also encourage mission-hearted sipporters to consider leaving a legacy or an In Memoriam donation to LLL, which can be made without conditions or to support a specific LLL Permanent Fund to support the LCA.
Support through LLL Loans
We are proud of our long history of providing tailored loans to approved LCA entities, such as Lutheran schools, churches, congregations and retirement living/aged care facilities.
Through our missional partnership with investors and borrowers, schools are able to build state-of-the-art facilities to nurture young minds, congregations can undertake vital renovations to worship spaces, and aged care facilities can undertake difference-making construction projects that allow residents to live in the comfort they deserve.

Mission outreach support with LTM
Lutheran Tract Mission (LTM) is an outreach ministry of LLL. LTM develops Christian leaflets, cards, bookmarks, devotional booklets and stickers. Ordered tracts are distributed throughout Australia.
