Advantages of REG

Advantages of REG for members:

• You know that you are giving God the first part of your income.
• The LLL pays the transfer fee on this facility and makes no charges. However, your financial institution (i.e. Bank, Credit Union etc) may charge a transaction fee for "direct debit" transactions. You should check this with your financial institution.
• Your gift to the Church is transferred automatically.
• When you are away, your gift continues to be made, without you having to catch up when you return.
• You have complete freedom to increase, decrease, postpone or cancel your gift at any time by notifying the LLL in writing (at least 2 days prior to the next transaction).
• It's safe because you needn’t carry extra cash for your offering.
• It's confidential. No individual details are given to the Church (or project) treasurer
• REG cards are available to place in the offering plate each Sunday so you can show that you have made your offering electronically.

Advantages of REG for congregations (or projects):

• Regular income means budgeting is easier.
• Time saving, since there is less cash to count and record.
• More secure, since there is less cash to handle and bank.
