Stage 1 Development Project.

From next year, Luther Heights Youth Camp will get an opportunity to share the love of Jesus with 6,000 more people every year – how amazing is that!
We love camp. We love the way it changes people. And we love the amazing way God uses camp to grow faith. Every day we’re blessed to help young people overcome their fears, to attempt new challenges and to experience Christian community. For many of our guests, their visit to Luther Heights is their first interaction with the Lutheran Church and their first chance to experience God’s love and Christian community.
Two years ago, our mission focus prompted us to initiate a master planning and development journey so we could welcome more people to Luther Heights. With the support of a LLL loan, we will complete the first stage of that development journey in January when we open two new buildings. The first building is a new double storey accommodation building called Ocean Outlook that will house up to 92 guests. The building has been designed for young people with the lower storey comprised of ensuite rooms for up to eight people and the top floor comprising multiple large meeting spaces so groups can learn, worship and play together. In addition to Ocean Outlook, we will also open a new dining facility and servery so that we can provide great service to our new guests.
We can’t wait to share the love of Jesus with our first Ocean Outlook guests in January.
