The LLL is committed to providing Lutheran education with ongoing support through the provision of development loans, business services and advice – as well as providing philanthropic grants.
In November 2020 the LLL approved LLL School Bursary Grants totalling $135,000 per annum for 7 years – a commitment of just under $1m - to the three Lutheran School Regional Offices. These grants provide the opportunity for as many students as possible to attend a Lutheran school - students who would otherwise be precluded due to financial hardship.
The LLL is pleased to help families with their educational goals by announcing LLL Bursary Grants will be provided from the start of the 2022 school year.
In what has been a difficult 12 months for many, the current Covid-19-induced economic climate has created barriers and hardships for some families who wish to have their child benefit from a Lutheran Christian education. To alleviate immediate financial hardships for some families in the 2021 school year, the LLL provided a further $50,000 to each school district in January.
Seeing the need and with resources available, the LLL is pleased to provide this support for many years to come. We thank God for the partnership between Lutheran education and the LLL as we move forward, together in mission.
The LLL prides itself on providing savings accounts that are simple to operate, with a variable interest rate and no fees or charges. The LLL has a variety of savings accounts: personal and joint accounts; guardian accounts for children; and business accounts, including for self-managed super funds and not-for-profit organisations.
As an Authorised Deposit-taking Institution (ADI), the LLL is regulated under the Banking Act and by APRA.
