LLL has had a long-standing relationship with Victory Lutheran College, Wodonga, Victoria, for over 20 years, and we extend a big thank you to Victory for allowing LLL to support them financially with their many renovations and new building projects during this time.
Recently, our Client Relationship Officer, Scott Ross, was honoured to meet Victory’s Principal, Mr John Thompson and tour the College’s new and improved facilities during a visit to the area.
“It’s a beautiful school,” Scott said, “It’s a very happy environment and it’s wonderful to see the College growing and thriving.”
Over the years, Victory has increased its enrolments significantly from 42 students in 1992 to nearly 800 students today. The College has developed substantially over the past 20-plus years as it grows towards triple streaming over all year levels, which has meant an ongoing need for additional buildings. Support from the LLL over the years has contributed to the construction of an Art Centre, a Science lab, a Food Tech/Hospitality Centre, an Admin building and Library extension, a multipurpose Hall/Performing Arts centre, classrooms, a Music Centre, a VCE Senior School building, general purpose learning areas, and more recently the Year 3 & 4 and Year 5 & 6 learning hubs and the Drama wing extension.
LLL has proudly supported Victory with the development of its campus and the transformation of buildings into more collaborative and modern workspaces for current and future students. Victory’s partnership contributes to LLL’s philanthropic purpose, which sees missional work achieved and the work of the Lutheran church supported.
Thank you to Victory Lutheran College for your warm welcome and a look around your beautiful College. It was wonderful to see your Foundation to Year 12 community prospering.
