Doreen, 93, and a friend like to take Lutheran Tract Mission (LTM) tracts with them when they go to hospital visits:
"You have some lovely tracts, I even use some when I am writing letters, and today a few people wanted bookmarks to put into the books they are reading."
We love to hear stories like this when people have used our tracts in ministry.
LTM is there for the ministry of the Church and the spreading of the Gospel that Jesus has come to all to bring peace, love, comfort, encouragement, grace and forgiveness.
As Christians, we are called to share the Good News with all who will listen and then allow the Holy Spirit to do its work.
For over 20 years, LTM has supplied around 10,000 tracts annually for distribution at the Royal Adelaide Show, as requested by the Bible League, that runs an interdenominational stand there as an outreach to the community.
At each show, many people from different denominations browse through our tracts. They like the range and the outreach possibilities for people coming off the street to seek information on Christianity.
This past financial year, LTM distributed 335,600 tracts to congregations, schools, aged care facilities, chaplains and individuals to help them in carrying out their calling.
We are the largest Tract Mission in the world with over 950 titles in 46 different categories, with Christians from other denominations also using our resources for their mission.
A Catholic church member messaged us to thank LTM for the beautiful prayer tracts she collects. She mentioned that she prays with them every day, that they keep her going and how thankful she is that they are made available.
Congregations, schools and aged care facilities are also using our free digital spinner on their websites to make these resources available to all their members.
