She brings deep expertise in financial governance, risk management, and strategic oversight, with strengths in group financial reporting, profitability analysis, forecasting, and complex contract tendering.
With broad operational and financial leadership experience, completing seven years on LLL's Board, Karen's governance perspective is grounded in real-world executive leadership, particularly in environments of transformation and growth.
Karen has a special interest in fostering leadership and development within mission-driven and faith-based organisations. She is deeply committed to values-based governance, and her open, collaborative style fosters strong relationships at both executive and board levels. She is passionate about building cultures of accountability, continuous improvement, and organisational clarity.
Karen is a regular worshiper at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Flinders Street Adelaide, SA. She is married to Timothy and is a loving aunty to four energetic nieces and a nephew. A keen marathoner, Karen enjoys early morning training, particularly when her favourite podcasts release new episodes!
