Construction is progressing on a new Multipurpose Centre (MC) as the latest chapter of the exciting growth story at LORDS takes shape.
Work on the much-anticipated facility commenced in January 2026 and is scheduled to welcome students during Term 4 this year.
With the support of an LLL loan, LORDS (Lutheran Ormeau Rivers District School) at Pimpama, Queensland, is undertaking a significant building program that is transforming the school's nearly 20-hectare site.
An impressive Junior School Building was completed in time for Term 1 of the 2025 school year, with the versatile MC set to bring further benefits to the school community.

Benefit to the community
"This is a significant build for our school as it will be a large, fully enclosed all-weather space for community gatherings," Acting Principal Selina Kinne said.
"This building will be such a blessing to LORDS. The flexibility and size of the space will allow for so many different uses.
"It will host activities like chapel services, assemblies, sport, PE, large group gatherings, dinners, music events, and there will be many other opportunities."
Features of the facility include a bank of 500 retractable seats, a large LED screen, sports flooring, air conditioning and large ceiling fans, a new kitchen, solar panels and batteries, a new staff room, and refurbished amenities.

An enduring partnership
The project is the latest example of the strong partnership between LORDS and LLL, supporting the school as it continues to make a positive impact in its local community.
"The staff at LLL have been fantastic to work with … nothing has been too much trouble," LORDS Business Manager Stuart Halsall said.
"It's very apparent that LLL are together in mission with the school in their support of our projects."
