LLL congratulates Shane Jurecky on his installation as Principal of Encounter Lutheran College, Victor Harbor SA.
LLL Chief Relationship Officer Scott Ross and members of the LLL Relationship team were honoured and privileged to attend Shane's Installation Service held in the school's gym on the first day of Term 3.
More than 800 students attended the wonderful event, together with staff, parents, College Board Members and invited guests.
Shane, formerly Principal of Peace Lutheran College, Cairns, succeeds Kelvin Grivell, who concluded 14 years of dedicated service as Principal at the end of Term 1, to become the fourth Principal in the leading school's history.

Dedication and faith
"I am honoured to be entrusted with the responsibility of leading Encounter Lutheran College," Shane said.
"Encounter has been uniquely shaped by the dedication and faith of so many people who have built a community where every person is known, valued and supported.
"I look forward to building on these strong foundations alongside our staff, students, families and the wider community."

Strong partnership
Representatives from across the Lutheran Church and Lutheran education were in attendance, including Bishop Paul Smith (LCA), Bishop Andrew Brook (LCA SA-NT), Craig Fielke, Executive Director of LESNW, Jodie Hoff from Lutheran Education Australia, the Hon. Lou Nicholson MP, Mayor Moira Jenkins, and principals from Lutheran schools across South Australia.
LLL has enjoyed a strong partnership with Encounter across many years, and we look forward to working with the College as it embarks on an exciting new chapter under Shane's leadership.
