6 February 2026
LLL Australia has made the difficult decision to cease offering cash services at our North Adelaide head office from close of business on Friday, 27 March 2026.
Since completing our transition to a Religious Charitable Development Fund (RCDF) in early 2025, we have observed a significant and sustained decrease in customers using our over-the-counter service for cash transactions. This continues the trend that started during the COVID pandemic, when customers faced intermittent restrictions on visiting our office.
Customers will still be able to deposit cash via participating Bank@Post locations around Australia.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.
Our office and phone services remain open, and we will continue to provide support over-the-counter should you wish to pay us a visit, speak to our team in person or browse the Lutheran Tract Mission display.
Our online service, LLL Online, allows you to securely access your funds, and this will not change.
We are striving to deliver improved digital services and look forward to sharing the latest update to our LLL app with you shortly. These updates will enhance our online services and improve functionality – making access to your facilities easier.
For more information on how to access your funds, visit the LLL webpage Accessing your funds.
While we will no longer offer over-the-counter service for cash transactions, we remain dedicated to supporting the Lutheran Church of Australia and serving Christian communities as we have for over 100 years.
This commitment is unwavering and we will continue to explore ways to expand this support from a position of financial strength.
If you would like to speak to a member of the LLL team about this important change, to set up LLL Online or the LLL app or for assistance with Bank@Post, please don't hesitate to contact our helpful staff on 1800 556 457 or email [email protected].
FAQs
Why is LLL ceasing cash services?
LLL has made the difficult decision to cease offering cash services at our North Adelaide head office from close of business on Friday, 27 March 2026.
Since completing our transition to an RCDF, we have observed a significant and sustained decrease in customers using our over-the-counter service for cash transactions. This continues the trend that started during the COVID pandemic, when customers faced intermittent restrictions on visiting our office.
Along with regulatory obligations that have prevented us from providing many of our customers with at-call access to funds, the need for people to deposit or withdraw cash has declined significantly.
We are also conscious that even fewer people are likely to visit our office now that the LCANZ has moved its premises to Frome Street.
What if I come into LLL with cash?
Until and including Friday, 27 March 2026, customers will be able to make cash deposits and withdrawals* over the counter at LLL in North Adelaide. However, these services will not be available from close of business that day.
After that date, you will need to hold on to your cash to deposit it at a participating Bank@Post location at an Australia Post office around Australia, with another financial institution and transfer it to your facility, or use it for other purposes, as we will not be able to accept cash deposits.
*in accordance with the Terms and Conditions of your facility.
Can I withdraw cash at all?
After 27 March 2026, customers will no longer be able to withdraw cash over-the-counter at LLL.

How can I access my facility?
