At LLL, we share your calling to serve, to build up the Church, care for communities, and steward resources in ways that honour God and create lasting impact.

The LLL Charitable Donation Program is designed to support your ministry by helping you invite others into that mission.

Through the Program, your community can partner with you in a simple and meaningful way, supporting the work God is doing through your organisation without giving up their savings.

Together, we can grow something greater than any one of us could do alone.

Bring your Cause to life

As a Beneficiary, you can nominate a specific project or initiative - your Cause - that reflects your mission and the needs of your community.

How the Program works

Getting started is simple:

  • Register your Cause by completing the Beneficiary Nomination Form, outlining your Cause and preferred location to receive allocations.
  • Share your Cause and encourage your community to partner with you.
  • Use LLL's Marketing Toolkit to promote your Cause clearly and consistently.
  • Community members open an LLL Charitable Facility and nominate your Cause.
  • Foregone interest from these investments is retained by LLL.
  • LLL distributes funds to Beneficiaries, considering supporter preferences, community impact, and missional alignment.
  • Quarterly reporting provides visibility of supporters and funds raised.

Regular updates on your Cause's progress will help maintain momentum and deepen engagement within your community.

Partnering with LLL

  • Provide LLL with regular updates, stories, and images so we can amplify your impact, so that your Cause can be shared with the wider Christian community as a source of inspiration and a witnessing of God's work in action.
  • Ensure all content complies with image consent requirements or relevant agreements
  • Invite LLL to key milestones or launch events where possible

Who is eligible?

The Charitable Donation Program is open to organisations faithfully serving their communities and aligned with Christian mission and purpose.

Eligible Beneficiaries may include:

  • GDR-endorsed organisations (Gift Deductible Recipient status)
  • Christian schools
  • Churches and ministry organisations
  • Aged care providers
  • Community groups
  • Not-for-profit organisations

All organisations must meet LLL's eligibility criteria and align with the mission and values of the Program. 

Engaging your community with meaningful and relevant Causes will attract more potential supporters and lead to tangible outcomes, fostering further growth and attracting new audiences.

Important information

^ The customer has no entitlement to be paid interest under the Charitable Donations Program product. Any reference to "foregone interest" is notional only. Nominated preferences are non‑binding and do not create an entitlement or obligation; funding is allocated by considering community need and missional priorities, with consideration given to nominated preferences. All allocations of funds are determined by LLL at its sole discretion.

We are required by law to notify investors that our debentures and our offering of the debentures is not subject to the usual protections for investors under the Corporations Act or regulation by the Australian Securities and Investments Commission.

By law, LLL must inform investors that LLL's debenture products are only intended to attract investors whose primary purpose for making their investment is to support LLL's charitable purposes, primarily support for the Mission of the Lutheran Church in Australia; that investors may be unable to get some or all of their money back when the investor expects it or at all; and that an investment in LLL's debentures is not comparable to investments with banks, finance companies or fund managers.
