For donors, the platform is intuitive, secure, and easy to use. Donations can be made instantly from a mobile device or web browser, either on the spot or in advance.
The giving experience is designed to be:
- Smooth and uncomplicated
- Transparent, with a clear choice (based on the options provided by participating organisations) of where donations are directed and how frequently
The platform complements other LLL giving solutions, such as Regular Electronic Giving (REG) for congregations and the Charitable Donation Program (CDP) for deeper community connection - supporting a varied and sustainable approach to receiving support.
How the LLL Donation Platform works
The LLL Donation Platform enables donors to make digital donations through a simple and secure online experience. Donations are processed and directed to your nominated facility with minimal administration and clear statement reporting.
Once established, organisations can:
- Receive one‑off and recurring donations
- Share QR codes and direct links to their donation platform across print and digital channels
- Identify one or more causes, funds, or missional activities to raise funds for
- Receive weekly statement reports for easy reconciliation
This allows organisations to offer modern digital giving without needing to manage their own merchant facilities or third‑party platforms.

How to get started
Sign up to the Platform
To receive donations through the LLL Donation Platform, your organisation will need an LLL facility in place to receive donations. This may be an existing facility, or you may choose to establish a new facility specifically for donation income.
If you require a new facility, please ensure this is opened first via Open an Investment before completing the platform application:
- Complete the LLL Donation Platform Application Form
- Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions for the LLL Donation Platform
- Nominate as many or as few causes or funds as you would like to establish at this stage (additional causes can be added later if needed)
Once your application has been processed, LLL will advise you when your donation platform is ready to start receiving donations and will provide you with a QR code and a direct URL to your donation platform.
Promote the Platform to your members
Once established, encourage your community to use the platform for one‑off or scheduled donations.
LLL provides a range of ready‑to‑use promotional materials. These resources can be used during services, in newsletters, or as part of stewardship conversations and can be found via the LLL Marketing Toolkit.
You can add your bespoke QR code or URL to LLL's Donation Platform to these materials, making it as easy as possible for supporters to donate.
Receive funds
Donors can access your bespoke donation platform in three ways:
- By scanning your unique QR code
- Via a direct link to LLL's Donation Platform
- By navigating through LLL's Ways to give webpage
Once on your platform, supporters can select from your nominated causes or funds where multiple options have been established.
Reporting
Donor receipts are auto-generated by the LLL Donation Platform, there is no administrative task for you to issue tax receipts. LLL will provide you with weekly statements, for easy reconciliation of donations received and into which funds.

Donations of $2 or more may be tax-deductible in Australia where the receiving organisation holds Deductible Gift Recipient (DGR) status with the Australian Tax Office (ATO). Donations are voluntary and non-refundable.
